IPoint Advisors is a comprehensive advocacy, outreach and technology management firm serving both public agencies and private sector entities poised to transact business with these agencies. First and foremost we are proactive partners with our advocacy clients. Our seasoned professional staff is well-versed in public affairs and is comprised of individuals that currently hold or have held positions as Mayor, Council Member, Commissioner and City Manager. These same individuals collectively offer our clients expertise in marketing, development and technology.

For public agencies we provide process assistance that allows constituent business to be transacted smoothly, efficiently and effectively. This includes electronic (egovernment), print and over-the-counter process and transaction solutions, as well as advising on means to streamline constituent transactional policies and procedures. We also represent governmental agencies on matters of interest they have before other jurisdictions and public agencies. 

Private sector businesses that are interested in transacting business with public agencies can depend on IPoint Advisors to provide advocacy, community outreach, issue management and strategic support, regulatory issue resolution, media relations and strategic communications, crisis management and government procurement services. We also assist those involved in economic development programs that must gain the support and approval of local governments and citizens.

Private Sector

Working with private sector organizations to support and promote their endeavor in the public sector arena, IPoint Advisors provides the following services that are tailored to meet our clients' specific objectives:

Advocacy: We assist clients with developing a legislative and/or political strategy that will achieve their specific objectives while complying with the political landscape and sound public policy. IPoint Advisors also guides our private sector clients in their analysis of current public policy relative to their objective, so they can better define their position. With strategies and policy positions in place, we represent our clients' interests before local, county and state agencies.

Government Procurement: By guiding our clients through the procurement process, IPoint Advisors assists our clients in securing governmental contracts. Due to our positioning with numerous public agencies, we are often able to identify contract opportunities and present them to our clients. Our staff is well versed in minority and women business enterprise teaming arrangements and can provide introductions for our clients to key business owners.

Community Outreach: Duly integrated in local, regional and state business and political communities, we are well positioned to identify potential contractors and subcontractors for our clients' consideration that meet MBE/WBE qualifications and enjoy outstanding business reputations. 

Issue Management & Strategic Support: On issues of public concern that affect our clients, IPoint Advisors will develop strategies and/or tactics designed to favorably affect public opinion. Focusing on public opinion leaders and other key stakeholders, strategies may either be grassroots-oriented or based in community relations or ally development.

Regulatory Issue Resolution: Utilizing our working relationships with elected officials and their staff, along with our political knowledge and savvy, IPoint Advisors works on our clients' behalf to resolve problematic regulatory issues. These efforts may be provided on an on-going basis, or in response to a specific short-term issue.

IPoint Advisors' professional staff is highly competent in developing and implementing programs that serve our public sector clients. We apply our many years of public service experience and comprehensive understanding of public policy to each task or program, while working closely with our client to achieve their particular goal or objective. Electronic (egovernment) Process Solutions: Building upon years of expertise in both government and technology, IPoint Advisors offers public agencies a unique opportunity to streamline their operations by implementing technology-based systems that suit their particular needs. We assist public agencies with the design and implementation of constituent-based programs such as constituent response structures, and transactional process systems such as online procurement of supplies, services and materials. 

Issue Management & Tactical Support: On issues of concern affecting public agencies, IPoint Advisors will develop strategies and/or tactics designed to favorably affect opinion with the general public and/or with other government agencies. Focusing on key stakeholders, tactics may either be grassroots-oriented or based in community relations or ally development.

Media Relations & Strategic Communications: IPoint Advisors develops electronic, print, video and/or audio communications that are precise in content, on-target with the intended message and developed with an awareness of all issues that may be affected by the campaign. Always budget conscious and efficient, each task or program is carefully thought out and appropriately implemented.

The IPoint Advisors professional team is proactive, fosters a partnership spirit with our clients, and is comprised of exceedingly competent, politically savvy and highly experienced individuals. Collectively and individually our advisors work tirelessly on our clients behalf to represent their interests with integrity, with a constant eye on the desired outcome.

Bob Lowes: A former City Manager and Redevelopment Director, over the last twenty years Bob has become influential and is well received in the local, regional and state political arenas. He has guided over one thousand public agencies and private sector clients in obtaining approvals and financing. A nationally recognized real estate and economic development expert in transactions with the public sector, Bob specializes in matching private sector real estate opportunities with public sector land use policies, regulations and financing/incentive programs. 

Mary Rodiguez: Over the last 25 years, Mary has provided public affairs, government relations, community outreach, real estate development to California and Los Angeles area public and private sector clients, including numerous California cities and counties. She also has extensive affordable housing experience, is a former Executive Consultant for the United Community and Housing Development Corporation and in 1995 founded Corporation for Better Housing, a nonprofit organization formed for the purpose of affordable housing with ancillary social services in California. Mary holds a Masters of Public Administration from USC, a Bachelors Degree in History from Rutgers University and did graduate work at Columbia School of Social Work.

James Banks: A former Mayor of Burbank, Airport Commissioner and Chair of the Burbank Redevelopment Agency, James' professional experience is solidly based in public policy, media, business and marketing. His leadership and marketing experience with Internet commerce, retail, healthcare entertainment and personal care, plus serving in public office, brings him a unique perspective on a wide variety of consumer and public issues.

Tyler McNabb: An eight-year Redondo Beach Councilmember and former Chair of their Redevelopment Agency, Tyler offers our clients a wealth of public and private sector experience, including the advancement of technological solutions at the local, regional, state government levels. During his 31year career, he has held managerial and executive positions with a variety of private sector businesses. For seventeen of these years Tyler has held marketing positions with technology companies, such as Apple Computer and Microsoft.
